ROLLING STONES HAVE CANCER
London, England - (GIN) - All the Rolling Stones may have Cancer, according to Keith Richards, guitarist for the band.
"Bloody right," he said, responding to questions at a press conference called by the Queen to establish who among English Invasion bands does and does not have Cancer.
Richards confirmed the group will be in the studio this fall to record a new album, "The Black 'N Blue Exile Returns With A Cough & Other Baggage" and cautioned it may be the band's last.
"Havin' the Big C an' all, we may not get 'round to another one after this," Richards said.
He denied this was a ploy to increase sales and he denied this was another attempt to compete with and one-up the Beatles.
"The Beatles've usually set the pace, but remember, Brian died before John," he said.
Members of Gerry & The Pacemakers, Herman's Hermits, and Freddie & The Dreamers also said they have Cancer, but no one cared.
