NIXON DAUGHTERS FEUD OVER CONTROL OF LEGACY OF CORRUPT, MURDEROUS PRESIDENT
Tricia Contends Father Was Wicked, Julie Argues He Was Evil;
Powell Sent To Broker Peace

Whittier, CA - (GNS)
- The feud between Julie and Tricia Nixon spilled into the headlines yesterday as President Bush dispatched Secretary of Travel Colin Powell to broker peace between the warring factions.
     At stake is the legacy of a man many view as corrupt and others view as murderous.
     "I'm hoping we can all agree he was a disgrace, but was also, in the end, a faux statesman, and leave it at that," Powell said outside the besieged Nixon library.
     Tricia Nixon, whose forces hold the library, contended her father was wicked and should not be portrayed as evil.
     Julie Nixon, whose forces surround the library, contended her father was evil "but not wicked".
     "There is only one thing the daughters agree on," Powell said. "They both agree on upholding their father's legacy in one area. They're both anti-semantic."
