FRANCE VIES FOR ANNUAL NAZI AWARD
"C'est Tres Magnifique!" Declares Le Pen;
Chirac Bans Vichyssoise

Correspondentez Francaise

Paris, France - (JLS)
- Centrist Candidate Jean-Marie Le Pen declared his victory in the primary election was another step toward achieving this years' Nazi Award and Prime Minister Au Current Jacques Chirac countered by issuing a ban on Vichyssoise in what many observers regard as a struggle for the destiny of this long misunderstood and often maligned country, and others see as France's blatant attempt to capture worldwide headlines and bolster its sagging economy and vaporous identity.
     "Secretly, most Frenchmen want to be Nazis," Le Pen said. "They kick butt."
     "We do not want to be Nazis. Or Communists. Or Capitalists. We are France. The gaul of that man! Sacre bleu!" Chirac declared.
     The battle for the soul of France is nothing new, acccording to French historian and cinema star Charles Du Jour.
     "France. Ah France. Napoleon. Descartes. Onion Soup. It is a very complex, very layered country. Tres layere," he mused.
     According to Du Jour, Chirac is French for "the sword".
     "So now we will see what is mightier, the pen or the sword," he said.
