NEW JERSEY FBI OFFICE HAD WARNING ABOUT BENEDICT ARNOLD; CLAIMS SUPERIORS IN PHILADELPHIA FAILED TO ACT Hoboken, NJ - (GNS) - FBI Field Agents here sent several warnings to FBI Headquarters about Benedict Arnold's traitorous plans but were ignored, according to papers unearthed by Rutgers History Professors Doris Ambrose and Ari Drudge. "The ramafications of this find are profound," Ambrose said. "Clearly if this information had been acted on, we would've won the war," Drudge said. Internal memos indicate the FBI was too busy supplying satin dresses and wigs to the Director to follow-up on the warning. Last week University of Chicago Professors Louis Joliet and Pere Marquette announced finding memos from the Colorado FBI office warning of plans for a joint Sioux and Cheyenne military action against the Seventh Cavalry. "I'm afraid as we continue to dig, we'll find the FBI was never any good at anything," Joliet said. |
