ITALIAN GOV'T DEFENDS KILLING OF PROTESTER
"Our Strategic Defense Initiative Was At Stake" Genoa, Italy - (GIN) - Recently elected Italian President Richus Tyrannus defended the shooting of the Italian protester, yesterday, citing national defense. "We are not America. We are not threatened with missiles. We are threatened by fire extinguishers," Tyrannus said in a prepared statement. He said firing at the protester about to hurl a fire extinguisher was an applied test of Italy's strategic defense initiative. "It worked," he said, "and we're all amazed, but happy. Now we know fire extinguishers pose less of a threat." |
