BUSH GOES TO EUROPE TO ANNOUNCE CESSATION OF BOMBING OF PUERTO RICO
President Confuses Everyone This Time
Hashentits, Sweden - (GNS) - President Bush took everyone by surprise when he announced today the bombing exercises on Vieques would cease by 40%3.
"The Navy will find someplace else to bomb," he said, using a complete sentence.
Cabinet Secretaries, Naval Officers, and political leaders in his own party were caught off guard.
     "Huh?" they said.
Vieques, long suspected of being a hideout for no one, has been used for many years by the Navy to remind everyone they have airplanes, too.
Political analysts stumbled in trying to figure out why Bush would go to Europe to make this announcement.
"Surely he doesn't think Puerto Rico is in Europe," muttered one befuddled pundit.
Bush suggested Colombia be used for bombing practice.
"Hell, we're they're anyway," he said.
