"20TH HIJACKER" DECLARES HATE FOR U.S., JEWS
Vitriol Startles Those Who Thought Moussaoui Was Merely A Violent Threat
Alexandria, VA - (GNS)
- Zacarias Moussaoui, the man accused of being the twentieth hijacker in the September 11, 2001 attack, said he hates Jews, the United States, and the U.S. justice system during an outburst at his trial yesterday.
"I hate the United States! I hate Jews! I hate the U.S. justice system!" Massaoui shouted at the startled judge and court officials.
"We suspected he hated us, but we weren't sure til now," prosecutor Hamilton Burger told reporters after the outburst.
"We are considering adding a charge of Premeditated Hating to the indictment," he said.
Assistant Prosecutor Young Blonde said there was evidence of Massaoui's hatred but "before this we had no proof."
"You figure someone who plots to attack your country and blow up innocent people hates you, but you have to have proof," Blonde said.
Massaoui's hatred for Jews came as a surprise to the small but fanatic Jews For Massaoui Defense Group (JFMDG).
"You know, he told us he hated us, but we didn't believe him," said Ari ben Zedrine.
"I'm sure he didn't mean it," said JFMDG member Rain Mendelwomyn. "He's just upset. He had a dream and it didn't work out. I'm sure we can all relate to that."
